Text:                A Geometric Approach to Differential Forms, by David Bachman (Birkhauser).

Homework: Homework will be assigned each day in class. You are required to do all homework problems. You are encouraged to work together on homework, although you are still responsible for knowing how to do each problem assigned.

Calculators: You may use any calculator that can't do the real work for you. Answers given in decimal form will, in general, be ignored.

Attendance: Although no official role will be taken you will need to be in lecture to follow the class, and take the exams.

Exams: In addition to the final there will be roughy five small exams/quizzes (one at the end of each chapter). Dates will be announced in class. Graduating Seniors (only!) may take their final exam on Thursday, May 7th, 7-10pm.

Grades: Exams will be individually curved, if appropriate. Class grades will be computed by giving equal weight to each chapter exam and slightly higher weight to the final.
