JOSIAH MAPUMULO

The talent fort good chorus singing is the brightest gift that has been bestowed upon the Zulu race. Their chorus singing is naturally tuneful, even those who have never learnt a word of music. They keep up to pitch in their unaccompanied singing in a way that is truly marvellous. Probably the most remarkable thing about this gift is the fact that practically every Zulu can sing, and what is still more, likes to do it. Good singers, if they wish to become still better, must always know something about those things which will make them better, and so in this short article it is intended to give a list of things that will be found to help the singing of school children. They especially apply to the children in our schools.
