b. Review the uses and discussion of this term in the chapters we have read in Stocking's Race, Culture, and Evolution (for last week), as well as in this week's assignment. Which sense of "culture" -- the singular humanistic or plural anthropological) fits best in the translation?

Here is what you do need to write up.  In no more than two double-spaced pages, compare (meaning, note salient differences and salient similarities), Liss's, Stocking's, and Baker's overall sense of the role and impact of Boas's critique of race on U.S. society and public policy.  Your answer should be carefully edited--as many times as is needed to produce the very clearest prose you can.
