I am a multigenerational Chinese American from California.

I am part of the first generation of women in my family to graduate from college.

I am lucky to be the auntie to many nieces, nephews and friends' children.

Someone once told me that we are only as good as our communities. At the Claremont Colleges, I am surrounded by  many vibrant educators/learners/scholars/activists such as the staff with California Center for Culture and Social Issues (CCCSI).

At the same time, I have been fortunate to be influenced and supported by many friends, mentors, and creative folk committed to creating a more compassionate and just society. As such, my  links page shows some of them who have impacted me and also many organizations whose work I value and respect.
