The
Intercollegiate Cross-Cultural Health and Healing Initiative at The Claremont
Colleges is offering a Major in Human Biology with an option in Cross-Cultural Health and Healing. This unique program is hosted by the Keck Joint Science Department and Pitzer College.
Many fields, including those
in the health professions and medical social sciences, increasingly require
training in both the biological sciences and the social sciences. The Human
Biology Major with an option in Cross-Cultural Health and Healing is designed to fulfill this
need.
The program draws on courses offered by all
five undergraduate colleges, Claremont Graduate University, and
Claremont School of Theology. It
provides suitable preparation for professional or graduate work in the health
sciences and social dimensions of health and medicine.
