Family Life
My Family
Hiroma Hamaguchi
My host family is Steven, Kasey, Skylar and Blythe. Steven is a manager. He is funny, smart and good father. Kasey is also funny woman. One day, we went to the furniture shop to buy my desk and cabinet. We looked for them, and found cool cabinet, however we couldn't find best desk. Then, when we leaved at the shop, we found nice table! We were so excited, especially Kasey. After that, when we went back home, we noticed that we forgot to buy a cabinet too excited for table. She sometimes forgets something but she is nice host mother. Kasey has several licenses, for example, makeup artist, photographer, hairdresser and so on. However, she has two kids now, so she cannot work. Her child, Skylar is six years old. Her speaking is very fast, so I cannot understand what she says first. Kasey's other child, Blythe is one year old. She is very cute. I usually play with her.
They usually take me many places. I went to Hollywood, Pasedena and Santa Monica. Hollywood is very nice place and there are many Japanese for sightseeing. Pasedena is also fun place; I went to the farmers market. If you go to there, you can buy lots of food, vegetables and fruits.
My host family is vegetarian and they like organic food. They usually eat pasta, burrito, and tacos in addition sometimes eat Thai food or Chinese. I've never eaten burrito but it is good taste. If you've never eaten it, you should try it.
I am certain that my host family is best! So, I hope I'll enjoy spending the time with them for seven months. |
