On February 15, 2008, the Asian American Student Alliance (AASA) painted a mural of Vincent Chin. The murder of Vincent Chin sparked the beginning of the pan-ethnic Asian American Movement. AASA organized this community mural project to spread awareness of the struggles of Asian Americans, who are often left out of racial discourse. We want to show that ultimately, hate against one is hate against all. The fight is not over.
