Participating in a Study
Participation in a study entails a visit to our lab on the Pitzer College campus in Claremont, CA. Each of our research projects is unique, but a typical study involves your baby sitting on your lap while computer-generated sounds and videos are presented. The approximately 30-minute sessions are non-invasive, non-stressful, and interesting for both babies and parents.
To make your visit to our lab as convenient as possible, we provide sibling-sitting services in association with all of our behavioral studies. An experienced Research Assistant in a room stocked with toys keeps older siblings occupied while you and your infant participate in our study. We also offer free parking and stroller access. We always do our best to ensure that everyone who comes to the BabyLab has a pleasant and memorable experience!
